On Day 17, when he comes to your room, your response must be: 'No, go on!'
When he asks what you told him long ago, the correct response is: 'You look
like a frog!' If you respond incorrectly, however, you will have a chance to
guess again until you choose the right response.

If you did not ask him previously, you MUST ask Luciano to be your Partner on
the 19th Day at the Practice Hall if you wish to be able to be his Partner for
the Ball. He will refuse but then will return on the 29th Day to ask you to
be his Partner.
There is a way to force Luciano to return for you even if you WERE his Partner
before the Foundation Day Dance. You must beg him at least three times to
stay after he receives the letter from the King ordering his return. After he
leaves, practice by yourself daily and do NOT explore any other areas of the
Flower Kingdom, thereby avoiding most of the offers by other Princes for
partnership. This method is riskier than the method whereby you remain
single before Luciano's departure, simply asking him to be your Partner on the
19th day, then awaiting his return. It can work, however.

Prince Tony

Your Dance Instructor in Rabbit form, your only opportunity for lasting
partnership will occur on the last day of the game AFTER you dance with him at
the Ball of Saint-Lyon. You need to dance with Tony at the Ball in one game
in order to complete your Photo Diary.

Prince Luciano

In theory, you will have four different opportunities to become Luciano's
partner but only one leads to possible partnership for the Ball of Saint-Lyon.
1st Opportunity: 6th Day after Competition. If you become Luciano's Partner
at this point, he will leave after the Founding Day Dance, commanded to do so
by his King.
9th Day at Dance Hall: If you become Luciano's Partner at this point, he will
leave after the Founding Day Dance, commanded to do so by his King.
19th Day at Practice Hall. You MUST ask Luciano to become your Partner
today. He will refuse, as he is planning to compete in the World Dance
Competition. He will ask you to meet him the next day, on the 20th Day and
during the course of that Event, you will promise to wait for him. He then
will return on the 29th Day, provided you remain single throughout.
Last Opportunity: 29th Day at night at Amusement Park. This is your SOLE
opportunity to accept Partnership with Luciano in order to dance with him at
the Ball at Saint-Lyon and become partners for life.
N.B. As previously stated, you must ask Luciano to be your partner on the
19th Day if you wish to have any chance to have him as your partner for the
Ball on the 30th Day. He will not accept, but will ask to meet you on the
20th Day. On the 20th day, he will declare that he is entering the World
Dance Competition. If you respond properly, he will tell you that you will be
the first to know the results. He then may return to you on the 29th Day but
only if you do not have a partner at that point.

Walkthrough in Story Mode

In this Walkthrough, the responses that are given usually are either the 'best' responses or only responses that allow the Event to continue, achieve the best result in terms of raising Affection, or obtaining a special Accessory. In some cases, the response simply allows you to learn more about the Prince but another response would be equal in terms of any real effect. In Events that occur later in the game, I have added a notation as to whether the Event will occur even if you have a Partner.

Where some Events are concerned, you may be able to experience them either a day earlier or a day later than the day on which the Event is included in the Walkthrough.

The Event that involves Cesar and the boat ride wherein he will give you his 'Quiz' can occur on a different day.

Where Kiefer's initial exposure to dancing is concerned, you will not be able to trigger the Event before the 20th Day. If you do experience it as early as the 20th Day, it will bring forward the 1st 'Secret Lesson' Event as well.

Some Events will occur only if you remain single. Others will occur even if you have a Partner. There are a small number of Events that occur with another Prince only if your Partner is a specific Prince. If you cannot experience an Event in this Walkthrough, the reason usually is the identity of your Partner or the fact that you have one. There are a few Events that are dependent on prior Events. Wherever possible, I have included requirements for triggering any Event.

Prologue:

In your first game, you will be treated to a brief description.

In your 2nd game or any subsequent game: If you wish to hear about the Princes in your world who resemble your future options in the Flower Kingdom,

choose the first response of 'Really…?'

Your responses afterwards are irrelevant. You automatically obtain the Royal Tiara Accessory.

At the Dining Hall, choose: 'Look around.'

This always is the option to choose when you wish to experience any possible events at a specific location.

1st Event with Vince:
Choose:
1. That's right.
2. I'd be happy to!' (Increase Affection by 10%)

2nd Event with Cesar is a simple introduction.

3rd Event is with Luciano. He will collide with you.
Choose:
1. I'm so sorry.

If this is not your first game, you then will meet Kiefer.

4th Event in 2nd or later games is with Kiefer.
1. I want a new friend!' (Increase Affection by 10%)

5th Event is with Klaus.
1. Talk to him.
2. Be my dance partner!

6th Event in the Castle Gardens only in your 2nd or subsequent games.
Choose: Check it out.

In the Castle Gardens, you will meet Vince and Liam. Liam will ask what flowers you like.

Choose: Lilies for 10% increase in affection and the 1st

Opportunity for Partnership with Liam. This Event will NOT occur in your 1st game. In your 1st game, your very first meeting with Liam will not occur until the 3rd day at the Market.

Note: If you do not opt to explore the Castle Gardens, you will not meet Liam today. Instead, you will meet him in your first visit to Samba Square.

7th Event: Klaus and Cynthia will dance the Nocturne.

Day 1: First Lesson

Your responses to Kip are not important. When you arrive at the Practice Hall
to meet Tony, choose:

1. Well, I'm ready to learn!
2. Amazing!

After dancing, choose:

1. Okay.
2. Okay, I understand.

Day 2: Today's Dance Lesson

1st Event: At Practice Hall with Cesar.
When he asks you to dance, choose:

1. I'd love to! (increase of Affection of 13%)

Day 3: The Traveling Market

When Kip offers to take you to the Market, choose:

1. Yeah! Let's go!

Samba Square: Accessory Shop

Here you will have a choice of the following Accessories:

Sea Shell Necklace
Coral Necklace
Silk Ribbon

Whichever you choose, Isabel will complain that SHE wanted the one you took…

Note: You will have opportunities to obtain the other two Accessories in the
near future.

2nd Event is at Samba market with Vince if you choose:

1. Take a look around the market.

Now choose:

1. Just looking around, I guess.
2. I like tuna too!

Note: If this is your first game or if you did not explore the Castle Gardens
on your first day, you will be introduced to Liam here.

3rd Event is at Samba Market with Cesar if you choose:

1. Take a look around the market.

When Cesar speaks to you, choose:

1. I'd love to!
2. I'm in another world! (Increase Affection by 10%)

When you return to your bedroom, the Royal Tiara will be gone.
Return to Samba Square, then choose:

1. Look for the tiara.
2. Look for the tiara.

You will encounter Kiefer and you should choose:

1. Will you help us look? (Increase Affection by 10%)

If it is your 1st game, go to Jive Park and choose:

1. Look for the tiara.

Klaus will appear to help you search and you will return to Samba Square, where you will encounter Liam. Liam is missing some carrots. When you have a chance to choose a suspect, choose:

1. Kip?

Go now to Rumba Beach and choose:

1. Look for Isabel!

When Vince appears, choose:

1. Do you know anything?

Go now to the Practice Hall and choose:

1. Look for Isabel!

Tony will suggest that you search at Viennese Waltz Lake.
Go there and choose:

1. Look for Isabel!

Here you will encounter Luciano whose terrible sense of direction causes him to believe that the lake is the ocean.
Humour him by choosing:

1. The ocean IS great, Luciano! (increase of Affection by 10%)
2. Ask about Isabel.

Return to Practice Hall where you will obtain your Royal Tiara from Isabel. Klaus will ask about the powers of the Royal Tiara.
Choose:
1. You can fly! (Increase of Affection by 10%)

Note: This response is vital if you wish to experience the Event later in
your room that allows you to become Klaus' partner.

Day 4: Mischievous Vince


1st Event is with Cesar at Viennese Waltz Lake.
Choose:

1.. Call out to him.
2. It certainly is nice!

Cesar will take you to Rumba Beach.
Now choose:

1. Look around the area.
2. Call out to him.
3. Wait. (increase of Affection by 20%)

Cesar drew a portrait of you in the sand.

2nd Event is at the Practice Hall with Vince.
Choose:

1. It's so easy!
2. I'd love to dance! (Increase of 13% in Affection)

After the dance, Vince gives you a gift in a wooden box.
Choose:

1. Open it! (Increase in Affection by 20%)

It is a box filled with worms.

When you have returned to your room, you will have a visitor.
Choose:
1. Come in!

Vince now will offer partnership. If you refuse, affection will decrease by 10% but you will have many other opportunities to choose him as a partner.

Day 5: Present from Kip

1st Event is with Vince at Viennese Waltz Lake
Choose:

1. Okay!
2. Okay!

When you reach the centre of the lake in the boat, choose:

1. Look at the lake.
2. Forgive him. (increase of 20% for Affection)

2nd Event is with Liam at Jive Park
Optional Event: Hot Date with Liam
Choose:

1. Sure!
2. Sure!
3. Dancing! (Increase of 10% in Affection)

3rd Event is at Samba Square
Choose:

1. Go inside.

When you choose an accessory, Kip will promise to give it to you only when your skills improve. At Level 4, you will obtain the 2nd Accessory if you did not obtain it sooner.

Day 6: The Dancing Contest
When Kip tells you about the competition, choose:
1. Dance competition?

1st Event is at the Dance Hall itself with Cesar. He will tell you he has a partner.
Choose:

1. Oh, that's too bad.

After this, choose:

1. Look around.

2nd Event at Dance Hall with Vince.
Your choices:

There's always next time!
Is there anything you can do?
Why don't you dance anyway?

If you choose the 2nd or 3rd options, Kip will offer an entrance ticket to Vince and try to persuade you to accept him as your partner.
Otherwise:

1. Look around.

3rd Event is with Liam, who does not have a partner for the contest.
Choose:

1. But it's more fun to dance! (Increase of 15% in Affection)

You will have the option to ask him to be your partner.
Choose:

1. No. (increase of 10% in Affection, oddly enough)

4th Event at the Dance Hall is with Cesar.
Choose:

1. Look around.

You will discover that Cesar has lost his partner, and will be able to ask him if you wish. If you wish to be partners with Luciano, Klaus, or Kiefer , do not ask Cesar. Deal with Kip's disapproval and go to the Practice Hall to ask Tony to be your temporary partner.

To Tony:
1. Please!

5th Event at the Dance Hall is with Klaus and Cynthia.
When they ask what you thought of their performance:

1. You were spellbinding. (Increase of 10% Affection with Klaus.)
2. All right!

If you win the Competition, you will receive the Magical Choker as a prize.
If you have no partner, you will experience an Event with Luciano afterwards.

6th Event at the Dance Hall is with Luciano.

1. Ask him!
2. I want to be the best.

Note: If you REALLY wish to have Prince Luciano as your partner ultimately for the Ball, ask him only on the 19th Day! He will leave to attend the World Dance Competition and if he was your partner previously or if his affection is not high enough, he will not return.

Day 7: Flower Expo

Kip will tell you about the Flower Expo at Tango Garden.

1. I want to go!
2. Tour Tango Garden.

1st Event is with Kiefer.

1. Is he here to see the flowers?
2. Because they open your heart! (Increase Affection by 15%)

2nd Event is with Cesar.

1. Tour Tango Garden.
2. Call out to him.

3rd Event is with Liam.

1. Tour Tango Garden.
2.. I like that. (Increase Affection by 5%)
3. I hope she recovers soon.

4th Event is with Vince

1. Tour Tango Garden
2. I'll help you!
3. Jump up! (Increase in Affection by 5%)

5th Event is with Cesar.

1. Tour Tango Garden.
2. I'm so happy you said that! (Increase Affection by 7%)

6th Event is with Luciano.

1. Are you lost?
2. I'm here to help you, Luciano. (Increase Affection by 20%)

If you help Luciano, you will receive from him the Accessory you chose at the Accessory Shop.

After this, the day will end.

Day 8: Unexpected Visitor

1st Event is at Tango Garden with Liam.

1. Take a walk.
2. Dancing.
3. Oh, really?
4. Let's dance together! (Increase Affection by 10%)

You then will have the option to ask him to be your partner once again.

2nd Event is at Jive Park with Vince

You will go with Vince to Rumba Beach.

1. A castle!
2. Hold it in!

If you make the correct responses and explore Rumba Beach after Vince leaves, you may find a Message in a Bottle from him that is a declaration of love. Returning to the Rumba Beach later, you may find the same Message in the Bottle again. Once 'unlocked', it appears randomly on visits to the beach.

Day 9: Cynical Elite

Go to the Practice Hall.

1st Event at Practice Hall with Luciano if you are single still.

1. Feel like dancing again?
2. Let's keep going…
3. Want to get better!

You then will be able to ask him to become your partner. If, however, you become partners with him now (or earlier on the 6th), your partnership will end after the Foundation Day Dance when his King commands his return. A true partnership only is possible if you resist the temptation to ask Luciano to become your partner until the 19th Day. At that point, he will refuse, but will return on the 29th Day to ask you to become his partner.

You should reach Level 4 today at the Practice Hall, especially if you dance the new Dance. If you dance it for the first time with any partner, you won't be forced to dance the first time by yourself as you would if you were doing it in the Practice Hall only with Tony there. Even if you reach Level 4 after the dance with a partner instead of with Tony, Kip will give you the Accessory as a reward.

Day 10: Shall We Dance?

1st Event with Luciano at Samba Square

1. Call out to him.
2. I'll take you there!
3. Do you like dancing? (Increase Affection by 5%)

2nd Event with Cesar at Practice Hall if you are single

1. I'd love to!

He will ask you to become his partner after this.

Day 11: Dance with a Smile

1st Event with Klaus at Viennese Waltz Lake

1. Talk to him.
2. Absolutely! (Increase Affection by 23%)

2nd Event at Practice Hall with Kiefer

1. What are you up to?
2. We should practice together!

Day 12: Crash Course!

1st Event with Luciano at Viennese Waltz Lake

1. Call out to him.
2. We should enter together! (Increase Affection by 20%)

2nd Event with Vince at Samba Square

1. Call out to him.
2. The cat! (Increase Affection by 7% to 10%)

Note that it is only if you choose the 'Cat Mimic Cookie' that Vince will stay with you when you begin to act like the animal you have consumed and will scratch your ears until he becomes utterly exhausted. If you choose the turtle or rabbit, he will leave immediately. (In my game, he was at 93% before this and increased to 100% after I became a Cat.)

3rd Event with Cesar at Rumba Beach.

1. It's fate!
2. Sure!
3. You're pretty, too!
4. Who?

It is at the end of this Event that you learn that Cesar's beloved sister, who taught him to dance, probably is dead. She remains only in his heart…

Note about Cesar: An Event later in the game will reveal a large scar on his chest. It is possible that he is has a weak heart and in fact, has undergone heart transplant surgery. Could his beloved sister have been the donor?

4th Event with Tony at Practice Hall

Tony will offer a special tutorial on how to gain bonus points. Take it or leave it as you choose.At the end of the day's dance practice, you should be at Level 7 with a new dance in the form of the Minuet.

Day 13: Romantic Horse Racing Derby

Of all the Princes, it is Vince, Cesar and Klaus who participate in the horse race. If you have become the partner either of Vince or Cesar, you automatically will cheer for your Partner. If you are not partnered with either of them, you will experience an event with Klaus.

1st Event with Klaus at Cha-Cha Arena.

1. Talk to him.
2. About dancing?
3. Cheer for him!
4. Accept it.

Note that Vince will have an accident in the course of the race in most situations. If Cesar, Vince or Klaus is your partner and you cheer him on, he will win. If you experience the Event with Klaus either single or with a different partner and cheer for him, you can obtain the Silver Belt given to the winner as a prize as well. If Cesar, Vince or Klaus is your partner, he will win the race and give the prize to you. If you cheered for Klaus, either because you have no partner or because your partner is Liam, Klaus will win the race and give you the Silver Belt.

Day 14: Gloom at Samba Fair

1. Let's go! (Accept Kip's suggestion)
2. Look around the area.
3. What are you doing?
4. That's just like you, Liam.
5.. Kick the bug.

4. What did you just throw?

This is the Message in the Bottle, a love letter addressed to you. Oddly enough, if this is not your first game, you may obtain the letter randomly when you search the beach even BEFORE this event occurs!

2nd Event with Cesar at Jive Park

1. Take a walk.
2. I thought you were cool.
3. The clothes you were wearing.

Now the option you choose either will have no effect or cause him to offer to be your partner again. If you refuse to be his partner when offered, his Affection will decrease by 20%.

If you then choose:
You're the greatest on earth.

He will say: Earth? What's that?

If you choose:
You're such a ladykiller
Cesar: Killer…!? I don't kill ladies! No, it wasn't me! And he will run away!.

If you want to be his partner, choose:
4. You're a real man!

Unless you are willing to be his partner. Otherwise, his Affection will decrease by 20% when you declare: Heck, no!

3rd Event with Klaus at Practice Hall

1. Of course!

If you have a partner, you may wish to response with:

1. I can't!
2. Of course!

Day 16: Fishing at Rumba Beach

1st Event with Vince at Rumba Beach

1. Talk a walk.
2. Let me try!
3. Touch them.

Another option afterwards to ask Vince to be your partner.

2nd Event with Liam at Tango Garden.

1. Wow! (Increase Affection by 14%)

3rd Event with Luciano at Rumba Beach if you are his partner.

You can ask Klaus to be your partner now.

This Event may not occur if you did not give the correct response when he asked you what magic powers the Royal Tiara has early in the game. The correct response is: 'You can fly!' Possibly due to the fact that this Event is the sole opportunity to make Klaus your partner, you can experience this Event in certain circumstances even if you have another partner.

Note: If you jilt another Partner for Klaus during this Event, you will proceed to Practice Hall where you will encounter your former partner who, in all ignorance and innocence, is waiting to practice with you. You then will be forced to announce the new state of affairs to your former partner.

2nd Event with Luciano at Viennese Waltz Lake

1. Ask him..
2. Sure, let's go!
3. Look for Luciano.
4. Look a little longer. (Increase of Affection by 12%)

Day 18: Surprising Foundation Festival

If you have no partner, go to Jive Park.

If this is not your first game, you will encounter Kiefer.

1. It'll work out! (gain 7% to 10% with Kiefer)

Kiefer will not become your partner at this point.

2nd Event at Dance Hall with Cesar if you have no partner.

If you wish to obtain Kiefer or Luciano as your partner, you need to reject Cesar and lose 10% Affection with him by doing so. Tony then will become your partner temporarily once more.

You will obtain the Gold Necklace for Dancing for the Festival with or without a permanent partner.

Day 19: Farewell Dance

1st Event with Luciano in your Room even if you have a partner.

You will go to the Practice Hall with him for one dance.

1. Be my partner!

This is the only response that will allow an additional Event to occur with Luciano, giving you an option to become his partner for the Ball. He will not accept, but will ask you to meet him the next morning.

Day 20: Rumba in Sorrow

1st Event with Luciano at Rumba Beach

It is possible that the actual Responses you choose during this Event are not significant, that what is important if you wish to make Luciano your partner for the Ball on the 30th is only that you experience this Event by making the correct response at the Practice Hall on the previous day.
You therefore have two options:

1. Good luck!

You will tell him that you will wait for him and he will tell you that you
will be the first to know what occurs at the World Dance Competition.

The other option involves the following responses:

1. Do what you want.

Only if you do not choose any partner for the Ball will Luciano possibly
return on Day 29 to be your partner for the Ball!

2nd Event at the Dance Hall with Kiefer

To experience this Event, you first must choose the option to dance by yourself. Even if your Stamina has been exhausted by Practice previously, you will be able to choose this option. Furthermore, dancing by yourself can result in an increase in your Level to Level 14 at this point! After you dance once, you will discover that Kiefer has been watching you.
Choose:

1. It's really fun!
2. Should I ask him to dance?

He should be at 100% even before he dances with you.

3. Don't think about it!

If you remain single, this will result in your first opportunity to ask him to become your partner. You can experience this Event on a later day if you do not experience it today by choosing the option to dance by yourself at the Practice Hall. Actually if you experience the Event with Liam first and then go to the Dance Hall for the Event with Kiefer, you can increase your Level to 15 and unlock Turkish March today.

2nd or 3rd Event with Liam at the Practice Hall only if you remain single.

This Event will not occur if you have a partner.

There are two different paths.. Only the first will allow you to obtain a
special Accessory called the Flower Hairpin.

1. Accept the hairpin.

Liam will be very pleased. Kip will disapprove, but in fact, it is not that significant in terms of the ultimate plot. Liam will learn to accept you as a woman who is unique, no matter what.

If you want to assert your uniqueness now, however:
2. Don't accept the hairpin.
3. It's the same as Olive's.
4. Forgive him.

You now can ask him to be your partner whatever path you choose if you still remain single. If you do accept the Lily Hairpin, he probably will not give you the Flower Hairpin after the Forest Concert if you become his partner.

This has not be proven, however.

3rd Event at Rumba Beach.

This Event can occur even if you have a partner. If you lost Affection with Cesar by refusing him at the Foundation Day Festival, you can regain it now.

1. Look around the area.
2. This response does not matter: Can be 'Yeah' or 'Not really'.
3. Looks the same to me.
4. Don't be rash!

Day 21: Relax at Viennese Waltz Lake

If you persuaded Kiefer that Dancing is fun by dancing with him in the Dance Hall on the 20th:

1st Event in your Room with Kiefer:

Kiefer will awaken you and ask you to practice with him. He then will take you to Foxtrot Forest for Dance practice.

1. Yeah, I'd love to!

This will occur whether or not you asked Kiefer to be your partner previously..

2. Yeah! Okay!

Kip will suggest that you ask Kiefer to be your partner. It is your choice whether or not to do so.
You have three different options:

You want to be partners?
You want to dance together?
You're lonely, aren't you?

You can continue to dance with Kiefer until your stamina is exhausted. You may be able to increase your Skill to Level 17 and unlock American Patrol today in this manner. If you have a Partner, however, you should not dance the last dance of the day with Kiefer! Today, you can experience other events.

If it is your 1st game or if you did not experience the Event with Kiefer this
morning:

1st Event at Viennese Waltz Lake with Vince

1. Take a walk.
2. Take a look around.
3. Why didn't you say anything?
4. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

You will have an option to ask him to be your partner. You will experience this Event even if you have a partner.

You will experience this event even if you have a partner.

3rd Event with Klaus at Rumba Beach

You will not experience this Event if Klaus is your partner.

If Klaus is not your partner, you will have no opportunity to ask him to become your partner.

5.. Go farther into Samba Square.
6. Go deeper into Samba Square.

You will experience this Event even if you have a Partner.

3rd Event at Practice Hall with Kiefer if you did not experience the visit to Foxtrot Forest two days ago.

Afterwards, you will have your first opportunity to ask Kiefer to be your partner if the event occurs only today.
Otherwise, you can go to Foxtrot Forest to practice with him as usual. If you dance twice with him, you will have the same option you have each day there to ask him to become your partner. Oddly enough, there is an option to ask him to be your partner even if you HAVE a partner.

4th Event at your Room with Kip

1. Play the game

Day 23: Secret Lesson

1st Event with Kiefer in your Room if you did not experience this event two days ago.

3. Yeah, I'd love to!

This will occur whether or not you asked Kiefer to be your partner.

If you did not ask him previously or do not have another partner, you can ask him to be your partner again now.

If you dance with Kiefer in the Forest, you will have an option to ask him to be your partner as on the previous day, even if you HAVE a partner. If you do, and continue to insist that you want him to be your partner, your current partnership will be broken and Kiefer will become your partner. You can continue to dance with him until your stamina is exhausted as usual.

You may reach Level 18 today. If you do so in the Forest with Kiefer, you will not obtain the Angel Ring from Kip. You need to be at the Practice Hall to obtain the Angel Ring at Level 18.

If Klaus is your Partner, the day will begin with an Event at Castle Garden. When you finally go to the Practice Hall, Cynthia will be there alone.
Klaus will suggest: Maybe we should practice somewhere else today.

1. Yeah…

You will not be able to leave stealthily enough, however, and Cynthia will speak to you, surprising you with her applause and admiration after you finish dancing together.

2nd Event with Cesar at Tango Garden

You will experience this Event even if you have a partner.

1. Sure!
2. Wait for him to get dressed.
3. Go into the dressing room.
4. Ask him what took so long.

3rd Event with Vince in your Room

If you do not have a partner, Vince will ask you to wear the blue string again and be his partner.

Day 24: Dinner Party at Waltz Castle

If you had a Partner but became Kiefer's partner instead, your former partner will visit you this morning in your room. At least, Klaus will do so if you became Kiefer's partner after being his.

Note that you are likely to reach Level 20 today at some point. You need to be dancing with Tony at the Practice Hall when you reach Level 20 in order to receive the Rabbit Ear Hat. If you wish to dance with Kiefer in the Forest, dance with Tony until you receive the Hat and only then go to the Forest to meet Kiefer.

1st Event with Vince at Viennese Waltz Lake

1. I don't have a swimsuit.

2nd Event with Liam at Jive Park

1. Call out to him.
2. Okay!

He will take you to Tango Garden where you will be attacked by a caterpillar and be so distressed that you will run away, despite Liam's assurances that the creatures are 'cute'. This is the Event that sets up a future date with Liam wherein he will cook dinner for you at the Castle. If you do not experience this Event, he will not cook for you later in the game.

3rd Event with Kiefer at Foxtrot Forest.

Each day, when and if you meet Kiefer at Foxtrot Forest, he will tell you you're late. After dancing with him once, you need to agree to dance with him again in order to have another opportunity to ask him to become your partner. This will occur each day that you practice with him in the Forest. In order to avoid the partnership, simply ask him if he wishes to dance with you.

Day 25: We All Love Dancing!

1st Event with Vince in your Room. You will go to Samba Square.

1. I'll go!
2. No reason, really.
3. You're faster in the derby! (Increase in Affection by 5%)

Complete all dance practice before you experience the final event of the day,
although you should be at Level 20 with maximum experience by now and perhaps not require any more practice. If you wish to make Kiefer your partner today, go to Foxtrot Forest instead and practice with him twice as usual to obtain
the option.

2nd Event with Cesar at Cha-Cha-Cha Arena

1. Call out to him.
2. I'll just go with the flow

Day 26: Dance Contest Panic!

1st Event with Real Princess in your Room

You now must search for Isabel

Before you leave, you can ask Cesar to be your partner if you remain single at this point. This is your last opportunity to make Cesar your partner in the game.

Cesar will tell you that Isabel was bound for Samba Square.

3rd Event at Samba Square with Klaus

1. Look for Isabel.
2. Seen Isabel?

Lauren will tell you that Isabel was bound for Jive Park.

4th Event at Jive Park with Tony/Kiefer

1. Look for Isabel.

If the Event is with Kiefer, he will tell you that Isabel was headed for the castle, but then will admit that he does not have a partner for the
Competition.

Now you will have the following options:

This is one of your last opportunities to make Kiefer your partner.

5th Event at Castle with Guard

1. Look for Isabel.

The guard will advise you that Isabel is in the forest.

6th Event at Viennese Waltz Lake with Vince

Vince will tell you that Isabel went to Tango Garden.
If you remain single, you now have another opportunity to become Vince's partner.

7th Event at Tango Garden with Liam.

1. Look for Isabel.
2. Ask about Isabel.

Before you search for Isabel at the Castle again, you will have a chance to ask Liam to be your partner if you are single.
You now either can return to your own room or go directly to the Dance Hall. In either case, Kip will force you to prepare for the Dance before the situation is resolved.

8th Event at the Dance Hall with Isabel

Prize for winning the Competition is a Gorgeous Hairband..

9th Event with Isabel after contest

1. Go comfort her.
2. You want friends, don't you?

10th Event in your Room with the Real Princess

Day 27. Forest Concert

If you have a partner, with the exception of Kiefer, he will come to the room to take you to the Concert in Foxtrot Forest. If you do not have a partner even now, Vince will come to your Room and take you to the Concert. He will give you flowers afterwards and ask you again to be his partner.

If you refuse Vince's invitation, you will receive another visitor in the person of Cesar. If you accept his invitation, the Event of the Concert in the Forest will be the same as if he were your partner. In fact, you will receive the 100 Rose Bouquet and then receive the Green Feather Hairpin from the Animals even if you are single still. At the end of the Event, however, Cesar will ask once again if you will become his partner. If you refuse Cesar's invitation, you will be forced to look for 'exercise' somewhere on the map. If you go to Foxtrot Forest by yourself, even having refused Cesar's invitation, he will be waiting for you there and you automatically will experience the Forest Concert event with him in the same way as if you had accepted his invitation. After refusing Cesar, you can explore the map.

If you go to the Dance Hall, you will find Kiefer practicing there alone. He then will ask you if you wish to go to the Concert in Foxtrot Forest. If you wish, you can force Kiefer to go to the Concert with you. After you dance with him there, you will have your last opportunity to ask him to become your partner.

If you refuse Kiefer at the Dance Hall, then go to Foxtrot Forest alone, you will find Cesar waiting there for you and automatically experience his Event.

If you have a partner, there are different results. Cesar, for example, will give you a bouquet of 100 Roses. The only Prince with whom you cannot experience the Concert Event is Luciano.

If you have a partner, but tell him that you wish to practice instead, the Prince will tell you that the Practice Hall is shut for the day. If you insist, he actually will take you there to prove it. Ultimately, he will carry you off to the Concert in the Forest.

If Vince is not your partner but escorts you, he will give you flowers, then ask once again if you will be his partner. If you refuse, you lose 5% affection with him.

If Kiefer is your partner, there is a very different Event from the start.
You will begin the day at the Practice Hall, where you will be obliged to dance with him. Kip then will inform you of the Concert. Kiefer will have no interest in music, but you will drag him to the Forest. There, he will be surrounded by animals who demand that he dance to their music.

1. Okay! or even 'What shall I do?'

The only negative response actually would be 'No way!' You then will lose 5% affection with Kiefer and will not obtain the Green Feather Hairpin.

If you ultimately agreed to dance for the Animals with Kiefer, you will obtain the Green Feather Hairpin from them as a reward afterwards.

With Cesar as your partner, he asked about the music, what I felt:
My choice:
The power of nature
The beauty of nature
… hungry!

The beauty of nature is the correct choice, although if you say 'hungry' you will talk about the delicious nature of fruits, nuts and fish and the picnic he prepared has all those elements in it! All three responses are acceptable.

When he asks about the food, your choices are:

Delicious
Wonderful
It's okay!

'Delicious' or 'Wonderful' are both acceptable but 'Wonderful' is a little more positive.

Cesar will give you a bouquet of 100 Roses.

If you tell Cesar that 'It's okay!', you will proceed to behave like a spoiled brat, complaining that the salmon really is not as fresh as he claimed and so on. You then will ask him if he brought you a gift at least! He will give you the 100 Roses Bouquet. If you did not obtain the Witch Hat from Kip previously, you will obtain it from the Animals after the Concert. If you did obtain the Witch Hat from Kip, you may obtain the Green Feather Hairpin instead.

If you have no partner, Vince will knock at the door and escort you there.

1. Yeah!
2. Oh my goodness! Kip?!
3. Sacred? (This will elicit a tale of how the music once brought peace to the land)
4. You're such a child.

The Animals will give you the Green Feather Hairpin if Vince, Kiefer, Cesar or Klaus is your partner or if you attend the Concert while single still with Kiefer or Cesar. If you did not obtain the Witch Hat from Kip previously, you may receive that from the Animals instead.

Day 28. Last Lesson

1. Go out.

1st Event with Cesar either at Castle, Jive Park or at Samba Square.With or without a partner, if you go to the Castle, Jive Park or to Samba
Square, you may meet Cesar there.

He will ask for a date, then take you to Viennese Waltz Lake.

1. Sure!
2. Get a boat!
3.. Prince Cesar!

2nd Event with Liam either at Foxtrot Forest or at Tango Garden.
You can experience this event even if you have a partner and in some
circumstances, even if you do not experience the prior Event on an earlier day with Liam where you would have surprised him reading a cookbook. Apparently, like the Event with Cesar today, it can be triggered at more than one location. If I had gone to Tango Garden, I would have triggered the Event there.

1. Yeah, sure!
2. Spaghetti! (It is Liam's Most Favourite food but he will make any of
the choices happily.)

If you don't go with him to shop, you won't get the dinner! After shopping and after Kip suggests the castle kitchen for the production, you will wait in your room for the meal. It actually doesn't matter what you do in most circumstances. If you go out, the dinner will be ready when you return. He'll be at 100% regardless even if you experience the Events with the other Princes during this interval.
You can choose either:

Keep waiting in the room.
Or

Go out for just a bit.
Then:
Keep waiting in the room.
Or

Go out for just a bit.

If you wait, ultimately he will bring dinner. If you go out, dinner will be ready upon your return.

1. Thank Liam for the food.
2. Thank Liam for the meal again.

Even if you choose the option to 'go to bed', you will not be allowed to do so! There is one situation where you will not obtain the dinner and that is if, upon going out while he is cooking, you actually practice at the Practice Hall. You then will return to your room to find that Kip has eaten ALL the food and that Liam has left!

3rd Event with Vince at Viennese Waltz Lake or at Rumba Beach. You will experience this event even if you have a partner.

1. I do!
Or

1. Like you can talk!

Only the 2nd response will lower his affection.. If you choose the third, he will announce happily that he will act even more like a child in the future and invite you for a 'date' tomorrow on the swing set. This plan never comes to fruition in the game.

4th Event at Castle with Guard:

You can experience this Event whether or not you have a Partner. When you speak to the guard, he will tell you that you have received many
letters from fans. One will be read to you. If you were not given the Green Feather Hairpin when you attended the Concert in Foxtrot Forest, it will fall from a fan letter.

5th Event with Klaus at Cha-Cha-Cha Arena only if he is NOT your Partner. It is possible that this Event only will occur if you never even experienced the Emerald Reunion Event with Klaus in your room:
Here, no matter what you respond, there is no opportunity to make him a
partner.

If you tell him that you don't know much about him, he will leave 'sad…' apparently you have forgotten that you played with him at the beach as a child. (the Princess, of course)

If you tell him that 'sisters are great', Brenda and Lauren will appear suddenly and he will dash off to get away from them.
If you still are without a partner:

6th Event with Vince in your room when you decide to go to bed.

1. Come in.
2. 'What's this?' or ' Isn't this…'
3. I'be be happy to! Or 'I'm sorry.' (Choose the latter if you are
hoping for Luciano or Liam at the 11th hour.)

This is your last opportunity to choose Vince as your partner.

Note that you will be required to use all your stamina before you will be allowed to go to bed tonight. You should have maximum 5 Stamina and be at maximum of Level 20 in terms of your Skill. If you do not have a partner at this point, you will have a choice either to practice alone or dance with Tony at Practice Hall. Oddly enough, if Kiefer is your Partner, he may be absent today both from Practice Hall and Foxtrot Forest, forcing you either to practice with Tony or dance by yourself.

Day 29: Happy Date at Amusement Park.

1st Event with Partner, Liam or Luciano.

You will hear a knock at the door in the morning. If you have a partner, he will arrive to take you out for a date at the Amusement Park. If you do not have a partner, the Prince who arrives either will be Luciano or Liam. If you experienced the Event at Rumba Beach with Luciano on Day 20, the Prince at the door will be Luciano. If not, it will be Liam. At the end of the day, whether your date was Luciano or Liam, the Prince in question will ask you to be his partner for the Ball. This is your very last opportunity to take a partner!

Amusement Park with Cesar:

At the Amusement Park, you can tell Cesar that merry-go-rounds are lame, if you want to be mean, but if you tell him he looks like a child on the horse, his affection will be reduced by 5%.That appears to be the only negative response during the day and if you carry on with him, it goes up again to 100%.
If you tell him to 'Kneel before me' he will tell you he doesn't like to be bossed around, but his affection remains at 100%

Amusement Park with Luciano:

If Luciano does return, this is the romantic event:
1. No, I love them!
2. I'm sorry…
3. I was hoping you'd ask.
4. I want to stay here…

Amusement Park with Kiefer:

1. Just enjoy it!
2. Were you scared?

These are the responses that will keep him at 100% throughout the day. If you
tell him instead:

1. (Just cry) (Decrease Affection by 5%)
2. Are you going to throw up? (Decrease Affection by 5%)

With TWO unacceptable responses, you can reduce his Affection by 10%. Even if his Affection decreases by 10%, however, you will increase it automatically to 100% again before you part at the end of the day. Kiefer obviously HATES Amusement Parks and rides of any kind. He only invited you in order to thank you for teaching him how to enjoy dancing.

Amusement Park with Vince:

If you allow him to persuade you to stay on the roller coaster again, you will lose one Stamina Point.

Amusement Park with Klaus:

1. The Merry-Go-Round.

If you choose either of the other rides, you will be forced to ride the Merry-Go-Round first in any case as the wait for the roller coaster will be 3 hours and the ferris wheel will be 'under maintenance' until the afternoon. In terms of Affection, however, you can make any response you like at any point during the course of the day. While waiting two hours in a queue for the roller coaster, you can talk about Dancing, Isabel or Baseball.

If you speak about Dancing, you both will participate equally in the conversation.

If you speak of Isabel, Klaus will admire the fact that you have become her friend but be a little perturbed about the concept of the 'fake' Princess.

If you speak of baseball, you will drone on and on and on… but Klaus will take it all in good humour.

When Klaus asks you to identify the Arena, you should respond:

1. The Arena

This will allow him to speak of the day of the Race.

Day 30: Ball at Saint-Lyon

If you had no partner on the morning of the 29th Day, you will have had one last opportunity to accept a partner after attending the Amusement Park with Liam. If you rejected Liam at that point, you will begin the day without a partner AND will end the game without one as well. There are no opportunities today! It is too late. You will be obliged to dance at the Ball with the reliable Tony and the game will end without the offer of a Diamond Ring from any one. You will have the Star Pendant from Liam even if you rejected him.

Here is a description of the last Day each of the Princes as your Partner.

If Cesar is your partner today, he will give you the Rose Accessory:
1. Great!

If Liam is your partner today, you will have been given his Accessory yesterday at the Amusement Park. Olive will be at the Ball.
Choose:

1. Olive is much cuter.

At the Ball, the Guard suddenly will appear with a prisoner wearing a hooded cloak. It is the 'real' Princess.
You have a choice of responses:

1. Answer.

You and your partner will be disqualified but the Princess will argue passionately with her father who then will rescind his decision. When he remarks that your Partner must be very hurt by the discovery that his Partner is a 'fake', the Prince will have an opportunity to declare that you are the one he wants, irrespective of whether you are or are not a real princess.

After the dance, you will be pronounced the Winners and your Partner will offer you a Diamond Ring with an invitation to return to his kingdom as his girlfriend to meet his parents.

You now have an option to accept or refuse. If you refuse, you will return to your own world, after bidding farewell to the Real Princess and your new friend, Isabel in your room.

If your partner is Klaus, he will give you the Emerald Necklace before you dance at the Dance Hall. There will be no interruption by the 'real'
Princess, but Cythia, Lauren and Brenda WILL interfere in a surprising fashion. Rather than causing trouble, they urge you to perform as beautifully as possible for Klaus' sake. After you win the competition, the rival Princesses will ask whether you would like red or white sparkling cider to celebrate your victory. Either choice is acceptable..

Klaus then will offer the Diamond Ring with an invitation to meet his parents as his girlfriend. If you refuse, you will return to your own world as in the case of the other Princes, but once you have returned, you will vow to win Klaus' counterpart Kyle in love in your world.

If your partner is Tony, you and he will win the Contest. He then will TRANSFORM once again, but this time the transformation is one that shows his true character. He is Prince Tony from a distant land, under enchantment by an evil witch to remain a Rabbit until he should win a competition with a Princess at the Ball of Saint-Lyon. Any earlier dances with him at Contests were insufficient to break the spell. When he has told his tale, he will offer you a Diamond Ring with an invitation. If you accept, you will marry him later. If you refuse, you will return to your own world, but will receive a visit from Kip a few days later. In the scenario where Tony acts as your partner, there is no interruption by Isabel at any point.

Photo Diary

There are many pages to the Menu. The Storybook Mode Menu contains three options: to begin a New Game, to Continue a Game or to view your Photo Diary. Whenever you complete any Game for the first time, you will obtain a Photo that features the Prince who was your Partner at the Ball. After the Photograph has been saved, you will have the option to return to the last Save Point before the actual Ball to experience the second Ending. In other words, acceptance of the Diamond Ring results in one photograph and rejection of it
results in another. Allowing Tony to become your Partner for the Ball results in two possible Photographs as well. These are the photographs that occupy the fourth and final page of the Photo Diary. The first is a Photograph of the real Princess on her visit to you in your world. The second is a Photograph of Prince Tony when you have accepted his Diamond Ring.

Unlocking Accessories:

If you wish to unlock the highest number of Accessories in a single game, you must dance with tony when you turn Level 20 in your Skills. You must practice at the Practice Hall with Tony rather than practicing with an imaginary partner at Tango Gardens or the Dance Hall. When you reach Level 20 practicing with your dance instructor Tony, he will give you the Rabbit Ear Hat. This is the only method by which you can obtain this Accessory. The Witch Hat is given by Kip at the Practice Hall when you reach Level 8. The only stipulation here is that you must be practicing at the Practice Hall at the time. If you fail to obtain it in this fashion, you may obtain It later from the Animals on the 27th Day after the concert in Foxtrot Forest if you attend the Concert with a partner.

The Witch Hat and the Green Feather Hairpin are connected in the sense that one will be given instead of the other when certain conditions exist. If you obtained the Witch Hat from Kip when you reached Level 8, the Animals will give you the Green Feather Hairpin after the concert on the 27th Day if you attend the Concert with a Partner. If you receive the Witch Hat from the Animals instead of the Green Feather Hairpin, you can experience an Event on the 28th Day at the Castle wherein the Guard will give you a letter from a fan containing the Green Feather Hairpin.

One Accessory is exclusive to a specific Prince in many cases and you must have made him your Partner before the 30th Day arrives in order to obtain his special Accessory. Liam and Kiefer share the same 'special' Accessory although they will give it to you at different times if either are your Partner.

Two Accessories can be obtained from Luciano and two Accessories can be obtained from Liam. You need not have accepted the Prince as your partner to obtain the other Accessory from him. In the case of Luciano, all you need to do is help him find his way back from Samba Market in order to receive the 2nd or 3rd Accessory from the Accessory Shop from him. In the case of Liam, all you need to do is accept the Lily Hairpin on the 20th Day when he offers it to you at the Practice Hall. If you have a Partner, you will not experience Liam's Lily Hairpin Event. Note that, should you accept the Lily Hairpin from Liam, you probably will not be offered the Flower Hairpin after the Concert in the Forest. You therefore will not be able to obtain BOTH Hairpins from Liam in the same file.

In some cases, a second Accessory can be obtained from Klaus, Cesar or Vince in the form of the Silver Belt, the prize for the Race at Cha-Cha-Cha Arena. If Cesar or Vince is your partner, he will give you the Silver Belt when he wins the Race. If Klaus either is your partner or you cheer for him, he will give you the Silver Belt when he wins it.

By remaining single until the 20th Day, you have a chance, therefore to obtain the following:

Silver Belt from Klaus on the 13th Day at the Race Course.

Lily Hairpin from Liam on the 20th Day at the Practice Hall.

Rabbit Ear Hat from Tony when you reach Level 20 at the Practice Hall while practicing with him.

The following accessories require either that you experience specific events and make the correct responses or that you are in the right place at the right time:

2nd Accessory from the Accessory Shop by helping Luciano at Samba Square on the 7th Day..

3rd Accessory from the Accessory Shop from Kip by reaching Level 4 at the Practice Hall.

Witch Hat from Kip when you reach Level 8 at the Practice Hall

Silver Belt from Klaus after the Race on the 13th Day

The following Accessories will be obtained in every game whether or not you have a partner:

Royal Tiara: You obtain this as soon as you begin your life in the Flower Kingdom

1st Accessory from the Accessory Shop: You will obtain this from Kip on your first visit to Samba Square.

Magical Choker: After winning the 1st Dance Contest on the 6th Day.

Gold Necklace: After dancing at the Foundation Day Festival.

Gorgeous Hairband: After winning the 2nd Dance Contest on the 26th Day.

Angel Ring: from Kip by unlocking all dances in the Latin course.

Essentially, this means that you can obtain ALL the Accessories in the 1st and
2nd Rows and almost half of those in the 4th Row by remaining single at least
until the 21st Day and until you have reached Level 20 practicing with Tony at
the Practice Hall.

The Accessories in the 3rd Row are the 'special' Accessories that are specific
to the individual Princes. You only will receive one of these in each game
that you play.

The remainder of the Accessories in the 4th Row require a Partner:

You must have accept the offer from your partner on the 30th Day to obtain the Diamond Ring. For this purpose, your partner can be Tony.

You must be Liam's Partner when you attend the Forest Concert to obtain the Flower Hairpin. It is possible that you will not be able to obtain BOTH the Lily Hairpin and the Flower Hairpin in the same game. If you rejected the Lily Hairpin, you may receive the Flower Hairpin after the Forest Concert instead.

1st Row:

Royal Tiara
You will receive it at the start of the game when you 'become' the Princess

The 3 Accessory Shop Accessories:

Sea Shell Necklace

Coral Necklace

Silk Ribbons

When you first visit the Accessory Shop with Kip, you will be allowed to choose one of the three for yourself. On Day 7, if you help Luciano, he will give you the 2nd Accessory from the shop. On Day 9, you should reach Level 4 at the Practice Hall. When you do, Kip will give you the third Accessory from the shop.

Witch Hat:

The 'default' opportunity to obtain this is by reaching Level 8 while practicing at the Practice Hall. If, however, you reach Level 8 elsewhere,
you can receive it as follows:

On the 27th day from the Animals after the Concert in the Forest only if you attend the Concert with a Partner and had not received it previously from Kip.

2nd Row:

Magical Choker:

You will obtain this on the 6th Day as first prize for winning the first Dance
Competition.

Silver Belt

The winner of the Horse Race receives this as a prize. If you are his partner, he will give it to you. If you have no partner, or have Liam or Luciano as a partner, you will obtain the Silver Belt from Klaus if you cheer him on at the Race.

Gold Necklace

You will receive this on 18th day from the King after dance performance at the Founding Day Festival.

Gorgeous Hairband:

You will receive this on 26th Day as a prize for winning the 2nd Dance Competition.

Lily Hairpin:

You can obtain this solely on the 20th Day from Liam in an Event. The Event will occur only if you remain single or are Liam's Partner.

3rd Row:

The 3rd Row of Accessories are the 'special' Accessories that each Partner will give near or on the 30th Day in order to boost your confidence or pledge your connection for the Ball.

Beaded Choker:

This is the special Accessory Vince actually makes for you if he is your Partner. It will be given to you on the morning of the Ball on the 30th Day.

Rose Accessory:

The Rose is Cesar's 'signature' flower. There are at least two Events where he will give you a bouquet of 100 Roses, but the Rose Accessory is given only on the morning of the 30th Day when he is your Partner for the Ball.

Stylish Hairpin:

When Luciano is your Partner for the Grand Ball on the 30th Day, he will give the Stylish Hairpin to you at the Dance Hall. It is an Accessory that he purchased for you at the World Dance Competition.

Star Pendant:

Whether or not you are his Partner, if Liam takes you to the Amusement Park, he will offer you the Star Pendant at the end of the 29th day. He will ask you to keep it even if you reject his offer to become his Partner. This is the last offer of Partnership you will receive, however, if you remain single! The Star Pendant is the Accessory that is specific to Kiefer as well but he will offer it to you only on the 30th Day when you both are at the Dance Hall awaiting your turn in the Competition.

4th Row:

Angel Ring:

When you unlock the last Dance in the Latin course and perform it once, Kip will give you the Angel Ring as a reward.

Rabbit Ear Hat:

You will unlock this Accessory when you reach Level 20. You must be practicing at the Practice Hall with Tony when you attain Level 20 if you wish to receive the Rabbit Ear Hat.

Green Feather Hairpin:

The Green Feather Hairpin and the Witch Hat are two Accessories that can be obtained in more than one fashion. You may obtain it after the Forest Concert in Foxtrot Forest on the 27th Day if Kiefer, Klaus, Cesar or Vince are your Partners at that point. If, however, you did not receive the Witch Hat from Kip at the Practice Hall when you attained Level 8, the Animals may give you
the Witch Hat instead. If you go to Foxtrot Forest while you remain single either with Vince or with Cesar, you may receive the Green Feather Hairpin at the end of the Concert from the Animals if you do not receive the Witch Hat instead.If you receive the Witch Hat from the Animals after the Forest Concert, the Green Feather Hairpin will be enclosed in a fan letter given to you at the Castle by the Guard on the 28th day.

Diamond Ring:

After dancing with your Partner at the Ball of Saint-Lyon, he will offer you a Diamond Ring with an invitation to meet his parents as his girlfriend. If you dance with Tony, he will offer the Diamond Ring as well. You must accept in order to obtain the Diamond Ring. This results in the 'first' ending to the game where you will remain in the Flower Kingdom always and ultimately marry the Prince who gave you the Diamond Ring.

Flower Hairpin:

This Accessory is exclusive to Liam and you will obtain it only if you are his partner when you attend the Forest Contest in Foxtrot Forest. He then will give you the Flower Hairpin. It is possible that, if you accepted the Lily Hairpin from Liam in the same game, he will not offer the Flower Hairpin afterwards in Foxtrot Forest.
